Find the Partner That Fits How You Buy
Brands, designers, retailers, studios, private-label owners, and first-time founders all need different things from a manufacturing partner. Find the page written for your situation — the worries it answers are yours, not generic ones.
Who we work with
We are a ~10-person team of senior makers, and we work best with buyers for whom the piece itself is the problem — the geometry is difficult, the finish cannot slip, or the design has to survive contact with a real bench. What changes from client to client is not the craft. It is what you are protecting: a brand promise, your authorship, an inventory bet, your name, or your first run.
Each page below is written for one of those situations. It describes the pressure you are under, the risks a wrong partner creates for you specifically, and the way we work so those risks never reach your buyer.
A factory that quotes what is easy is not a partner. The right bench explains why your design is hard — and how it still gets built.
Choose your situation
Start with the description that sounds like your business. Every page ends the same way: what this means for your project, and how to start.
Jewelry Brands
You carry a promise to your own buyers. Every repeat order must match the piece they already love — because a quality escape damages your brand, not the factory.
Open this pageDesigners
Your design is your voice. You need a bench that builds what you drew, flags what will not build, and never quietly simplifies your work to suit itself.
Open this pageRetailers
You are testing demand with a controlled line. The inventory risk is yours, so variance across a run — and pieces that photograph well but disappoint in hand — is the risk that matters.
Open this pageJewelry Studios
You have more demand than bench time. Your name goes on the finished piece, so quality under your name is the whole question — and the partner must never court your clients.
Open this pagePrivate Label Jewelry
You source production under your own label. Spec control, repeatability between deliveries, and a partner who does not copy or substitute silently are everything.
Open this pageStartup Jewelry Projects
This is your first production run. You need straight answers, an honest manufacturability read, and a partner who will not oversell what a small bench can do.
Open this pageWhat every client gets
Whichever page is yours, these do not change.
- A senior bench — a ~10-person team with 5–6 senior craftspeople at the bench; your project stays close to the people who build it.
- Manufacturability first — we review your design for what is hard before we quote what is easy.
- Email-first communication — write to contact@jewelcraftworks.com and every reply comes from someone who has actually read your design.
- The reference stays — your approved file and sample stay on hand through production, so the bar does not drift between deliveries.
- Honest limits — if we are not the right bench for your piece, we tell you, and we tell you why.
Not sure which page is yours?
Most projects sit between two descriptions. This is how we find the fit.
Tell us what you want to make
A sketch, a CAD file, or a reference piece — and who it is for. That is enough to start; no formal document needed.
We read it and reply with the route
Which capabilities your piece draws on, where the risk points sit, and how we would build it. You get a manufacturability review, not a form letter.
You decide from there
No obligation and no pressure. The review is yours to keep, whichever bench you eventually choose.
Questions we hear first
QMy project is somewhere between two of these pages. Which one applies?
Most are. The pages describe starting points, not boxes — send the project over and we will route it ourselves.
QI am a designer with no CAD file. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Sketches and references are enough to begin. We model the piece and confirm it with you before any metal is committed.
QCan I see the workshop before committing?
The bench stays private by default, but our Production Evidence section opens the workshop, the process, and the equipment in detail — and we will walk you through any stage on a call.
QHow do I get a quote?
Email your design or use the quote form. You will receive a manufacturability review and the route we would take to build it.
